What's in store for these tastings?
In each 15-minute session, 5 products from the 100 selected for SIAL Taste will be unveiled, leaving room for the unexpected and the discovery of new flavours. The judicious choice of each group of 5 products is studied and carried out by our experts to guarantee you a coherent and enjoyable culinary experience, in line with the trends highlighted by the SIAL Insights study.However, there is no programme: it is impossible to know in advance which 5 products will be presented at each session. The only way to find out is to attend a session and find out live!
Although you can't know in advance which groups of 5 products will be presented at each session, nor the time and day when a product will be tasted, the full list of 100 products will be revealed as we go along in the online catalogue, so you can satisfy your curiosity and anticipate this tasting experience.
How you can take part in tasting?
Nothing could be simpler: just go to the SIAL Taste area in Hall 6 and join the queue.
Don't panic if the queue seems long!
Tasting sessions last 15 minutes and can accommodate up to 25 people. So the queue moves very swiftly.

No problem! You can also take a look at SIAL Innovation to discover some of the products selected for this year's event. As SIAL Taste is an extension of SIAL Innovation, you'll find a host of culinary innovations to discover.

Meet Cyril Rouquet-Prévost, the chef who hosted the SIAL Taste 2024 tastings!
Author, TV commentator, producer, presenter, consultant, chef and Chevalier dans l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole, Cyril Rouquet-Prévost puts his boundless energy at the service of French gastronomy.
After studying law and international business, he began a career in the food industry, first at Maximo and then at Carrefour.
In 2010, he changed his life thanks to the TV show MasterChef, and this notoriety enabled him to open a restaurant. He was then awarded three stars at the Beijing Olympics of Gastronomy. Dynamic and passionate, he became a columnist for LCI where he produced Plateau Gourmand, a programme highlighting products and producers. He is a regular contributor to the Quotidienne on France 5. He has worked with Karine Le Marchand on a number of programmes (Une Ambition Intime, Opération Renaissance) and created a web series with her against food waste.
He presents and represents good eating in France and around the world, hosting events all over the planet. He presents prestigious events.
He is a committed ambassador in the fight against food waste, thanks to the Save Food, Save Planet programme, and gives lessons to underprivileged children and those who have suffered accidents. He is also involved with La Tablée des Chefs, which fights against food insecurity, and supports events organised by the Union pour l'enfance.He is also very involved with young deaf people and the fight against breast cancer.
He works with and consults for many brands, both in France and abroad.
In October 2024, he released an event book: Eggcellent, le gros livre des œufs, published by Hachette.
