FOODpathS project : Paving the way of the European Partnership for Sustainable Food Systems

FOODPathS is a project funded by the European Commission that aims to offer a concrete pathway and necessary tools for establishing an appropriate operational environment for the future European Partnership for Sustainable Food Systems for People, Planet & Climate.

On that aim, we have mapped the European foodtech living labs to foster the exchange of best practices. We also consider national National Food Technology Platforms strategies to capitalise on existing networks and connect with living labs of other partnerships and project initiatives at EU level.

Finally, FOODPathS has been working for creating a good environment to ease the work of the EU Partnership for Sustainable Food Systems that, has been launched recently with the name of “FutureFoodS“. This partnership is expected to mobilise a total indicative budget of EUR 525 million over the next 7 to 10 years with the mission to accelerate the transformation of national, EU, and global food systems, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, healthy, resilient, and trusted by all, while respecting planetary boundaries.
