SunWest Foods is a family-owned, California-based rice milling and marketing company. We specialize in California-grown Medium Grain rice (Calrose), Wild Rice, and Organic rices. SunWest sources, markets, and processes rice and wild rice from over 300 farmers, accounting for 12-14% of California's rice production and over 40% of the state's wild rice production. We offer packaged products under our own brands—SunWest, Seijou, Pacific Rose, and Old Style Hawaiian—and also specialize in private label products.

SunWest’s state-of-the-art processing, warehousing, packaging, and distribution facilities are located in Butte County, California's premier rice-growing region. These facilities are technologically advanced, highly efficient, and comply with the strictest food safety standards. Our mill, the largest in California, is capable of processing 160,000 pounds of rice per hour.
